I have three daughters of my own and worked as a day matron in a girls’ boarding house before coming here in 2004, so coming to Winchester to an all boys’ environment presented a change and a challenge. It is an indication of how much I enjoy that challenge that I am still here 15 years later. The boys are a constant source of entertainment and inspiration (and mud), and to see them growing and learning and bonding together as they move up through the house, and to be part of that process, continues to be a pleasure and a privilege.
