Sir Richard is a former pupil and former parent. He is Chairman of the JP Morgan Asian Investment Trust; and a Trustee of the Turquoise Mountain Foundation, of SOAS and of the Chevening Estate. Until 2015, Sir Richard was a British Diplomat. His last two postings were High Commissioner to India and Ambassador to Afghanistan.
